THE SHROUD

The exposition of the Holy Shroud (April 19th – June 24th, 2015) in the Cathedral of Turin will dedicate particular attention to themes of youth and physical and spiritual suffering. The Exhibition, announced by and organized at the behest of Pope Francis, is linked to the jubilee for the bicentenary of St. John Bosco.
The exposition of the Holy Shroud will be accompanied by initiatives ecclesial and cultural events defined with special care by the Organising Committee.
Visits of the Holy Shroud Exhibit can be booked through this web site. The process takes only a few minutes and is free.

Pope Francis, Sunday, June 21, will visit in Turin to venerate the Holy Shroud and to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of St. John Bosco. He will be received by the Archbishop and Papal Guardian of the Shroud Cesare Nosiglia of Turin, and then he will celebrate mass in Vittorio Square.
There will be also be other city events, involving Shroud pilgrims, youth and sick people.
