Over the first three days of the display, the bookshop of the Holy Shroud Exhibition (in Piazza Castello, at the corner of Via Palazzo di Cittą) has been visited by thousands of pilgrims and visitors. People of any age and nationality (beside the Italians, many German, French and American people) have been buying books, DVDs and reproductions of the Shorud.

 

Today about 28,000 pilgrims (100,000 is the total number of visitors registered from the opening of the Holy Shroud Exhibition) have visited the Holy Shroud. Among them, the Archbishop of Vienna  Christoph Schoenborn and the Governor of Michigan. Over 25,000 people are expected tomorrow.
