www.sindone.org è un'iniziativa ufficiale della Chiesa Cattolica Italiana, dedicata ad approfondire e documentare tutto ciò che riguarda la Sacra Sindone.
Il sito presenta una ricca documentazione storica, iconografica e scientifica, ulteriormente aggiornata in occasione del restauro completato nel 2002. Ma - per usare le parole di Papa Giovanni Paolo II - la Sindone ` soprattutto "provocazione dell'intelligenza", sorgente di riflessione spirituale e pastorale.
La realizzazione, gli aggiornamenti e la progettazione tecnica sono curati dalla Coop. "La Bussola" di Torino, con la supervisione della Commissione Diocesana per la Sindone.

www.sindone.org is a direct initiative of the Italian branch of the Roman Catholic Church, with the purpose of illustrating and documenting in fine detail everything related to the Holy Shroud.
This website was launched during the Exposition of 1998. It would subsequently earn worldwide renown as the official link to the celebrations tied to the Jubilee of Year 2000, then as a source of scientific documentation on the linen, hosting detailed information on the restoration process completed in 2002. To quote Pope John Paul II: "The Shroud is a challenge to our intelligence".
Currently, the Archdiocese of Turin supervises the site through a specific Commission. Coding, design, updates and staffing are handled by "La Bussola", a cooperative based in Turin.
