Scars
There are five scars: two on the feet, two on the hands and one on the chest. The first four were made by the nails, the last one by the centurion who wanted to make sure Jesus was dead. However the wounds on the hands were probably on the wrists (as depicted in the shroud); in fact only this position could allow a body to withstand the gravity.
